Kay Henry

A love of drawing and painting has always been a large part of Kay Henry’s life.  She has studied watercolor with Charles Reid, Frank Webb and Jan Kunz.  In addition, she has studied Art History, painting, photography and design extensively at Pasadena City College and Art Center College of Design.

Her paintings are drawn from her extensive world travel and her love of the experience of creating art.  She is inspired by the grandeur and nature of the world as well as the beauty and innocence of children.

She has won awards for paintings in watercolor and oil and is a member of The California Art Club, Watercolor West, Oil Painters of America and The American Impressionist Society.  She is a founding member of The Pasadena Art Colony.  Her work is displayed in private and commercial collections throughout Southern California, Colorado, Montana and Texas.
